Pearl/Old Town

Portland’s Pearl District and Old Town/China Town lie between the NW Flats and the Willamette River on the North side of Burnside.

The Pearl District is our lively arts scene with many galleries and high end dining, theater and shopping. This is where Portland’s condo boom happened both with award winning LEED designated buildings and wonderful example of adaptive reuse of existing turn of the century warehouses. Portland was a pioneer in advancing the green building movement and buildings with LEED platinum, LEED gold, and LEED silver designations can be found in The Pearl. 

Our Old Town/China Town area has a busy night scene with clubs, bars and eateries with streets vacated to maximize pedestrians. The award winning Lan Su Chinese garden is a wonderful place to reflect for a cup of tea and the Portland Saturday Market is a Mecca of shopping for handmade crafts and sundries.
